Hotel St. Laurans is situated in the centre of Aurignac with panoramic views to the Pyrenees. The Hotel is the ideal centre for a cultural or sportive holiday, and St. Laurans is also the perfect place for relaxing, with a romantic or a gastronomic weekend.

Hotel Saint Laurans is located at the eastern entrance to the old bastide which was destroyed in the 12th century during the war against the Cathars, but preserves today the calm and charm of a medieval town with fine houses and courtyards of all ages, a 15th century church, a castle tower with magnificent views. There are shops, a post office, a bank, doctors, a riding club, a tennis court and a swimming pool. There are plenty of walking/cycling tracks with beautiful views over the rolling countryside and the Pyrenees starting from the village. In the neighbourhood are many medieval villages such as Alan with the "Palais des Évéques",  “L’Hôpital Notre Dame de Lorette “ and a pottery and frequent concerts,  Montmaurin with the remains of a Roman Villa from 350 AD beside the Gorges de la Save, and many picturesque market towns on the rivers such as Cazeres, (with boating lake), St Martory, Salies du Salat.

To the south

Saint Bertrand de Comminges with excavations of the largest Roman town of the region and a grand cathedral with famous carved choir stalls and a 16thC organ, set in the mountains.

To the north

Toulouse "La Ville rose" is only 55 km away with fine museums, markets, cathedrals, shops, theatres and excellent restaurants. It has very good and safe parking facilities. Lourdes is a beautiful one and a half hours drive away.

The Pyrenees are about 45 min away with many sporting activities such as mountaineering, hiking, skiing, rafting, canoeing, hang-gliding etc. and for more gentle scenic walks.  There are several spa towns in the area ( Luchon, Salies du Salat, Bagneres de Bigorre, Loudenveille, and more) There are several golf courses in the area with very reasonable green fees, the nearest at 30 minutes drive.
